Step 8-9: Grandad Terry and Lily have brought her teddy to life, but now the teddy wants their help to bring all the toys to life. Firstly, they visit the teddies and provide them all with shoes before bringing them to life. Then, they bring the robots to life by calculating how many drops of potion each robot will need. Finally, it is the turn of the giraffes to be brought to life. Once all the toys have had their potion, Lily and Grandad Terry plan a party for the toys to celebrate.
Step 9: This Year 1 Count in 5s IWB activity checks pupils' understanding of counting forwards in 5s and identifying numbers that follow a pattern of counting in 5s. Pupils will fill in the blanks to complete number sequences, drag and drop to sort number sequences by counting in 5s and decide if a statement about counting in 5s is true or false.
