This Jack and Jill role play mask activity allows children to retell the nursery rhyme demonstrating their understanding of the narrative using props. Children can also develop their fine motor skills through cutting out the masks.

3 and 4 year olds
Know many rhymes, be able to talk about familiar books, and be able to tell a long story.

Retell the story, once they have developed a deep familiarity with the text, some as exact repetition and some in their own words.
