Our KS2 Black History Month Assembly resource has been designed to help children learn about the importance of black history and significant individuals such as Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr., Mae Jemison and Barack Obama.
It looks at the origins of the event too and how it was introduced back in 1926 by Carter G Woodson and continues to this day.
This resource would be suitable for whole KS2 assemblies or as part of a class assembly.
