This Year 1 Count in 5s lesson covers the prior learning of counting objects, before moving onto the main skill of counting in 5s.
The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then complete the activities to check their skills. They can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
