Step 4-6: Consolidation of Step 4-6 Year 1 Addition and Subtraction Learning Video Clip

We catch up with Kev the trainee knight as he continues his training at Kingshill Castle. This time he meets Princess Petronella and Darren the Dragon where Kev has to subtract within 10 and crossing 10. Kev then has to work out how many candles will be left in the box by counting and crossing 10 and then finally, Kev is allowed to take part in some knightly activities by taking part in a fencing match with Sir Bruno, but for every touch of Kev’s armour, he loses a point, how many points will he lose?

This Learning Video Clip has been designed as a consolidation tool for steps 4, 5 and 6. It contains content relevant to all these steps and can be used in parts to recap a particular step or in on its own at the end of a teaching sequence for the included steps.
