Varied Fluency
Developing Questions to support using pronouns and conjunctions within paragraphs. Paragraphs to include mostly short, simple sentences with some use of conjunctions.
Expected Questions to support using pronouns and conjunctions within paragraphs. Paragraphs to include a range of fronted adverbials and conjunctions to extend sentences and text.
Greater Depth Questions to support recognising and using paragraphs in narrative writing. Paragraphs to include more complex and descriptive vocabulary including adverbs and a broader range of adjectives and conjunctions.

Application and Reasoning
Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Reasoning)
Developing Complete a sentence using a given conjunction.
Expected Add a sentence to a paragraph that includes a given conjunction.
Greater Depth Add a sentence to a paragraph that includes a fronted adverbial and a given conjunction.

Questions 2, 5 and 8 (Application)
Developing Start a new paragraph with a sentence that contains one pronoun. Three options given.
Expected Start a new paragraph with a sentence that contains two different pronouns. Five options given.
