English Year 1: (1G6.3) Regular plural noun suffixes –s or –es [for example, dog, dogs; wish, wishes], including the effects of these suffixes on the meaning of the noun

Differentiation:

Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Varied Fluency)
Developing Label images of plural nouns that end with ‘-es’. Nouns used are easily decodable without split digraphs.
Expected Label images of plural nouns that end with ‘-es’. Nouns used are decodable with knowledge of all phonetic sounds required for the Year 1 phonics screening.
Greater Depth Label images of plural nouns that end with ‘-es’. Nouns used are words which cannot be easily decoded.

Developing Choose the correct spelling of plural nouns that end with ‘-es’ to complete given sentences. Most words featured are easily decodable without split digraphs.
