This Year 1 Compare Groups Discussion Problem is aimed at those children who are confident with comparing groups and are now in need of a more indepth problem to solve.
In this problem, children are encouraged to work together to identify how many pairs of boots each basket holds. Ideal for working in pairs or small groups, this challenge has more than one possible answer. We've included one example to aid discussion.
