Step 4: Year 5 Area of Compound Shapes IWB Activity
This Year 5 Area of Compound Shapes IWB Activity includes three questions designed to check pupils' understanding of calculating the area of compound shapes. Pupils will identify which rooms a tiler can tile the floor in based on their area, calculate how much of a lawn won't be able to be mowed, based on how much fuel is in a tank and compare compound shapes to identify the largest area.
