This Year 6 Finding the Whole IWB Activity includes three questions designed to check pupils' understanding of fractions of amounts and using known values to find the whole. Pupils will use bar models to find the whole, determine whether a statement about using fractions to find the whole is true or false and find out which school has a given number of boys from a given fraction.
