Developing Questions to support recognising action verbs in statement sentences.
Expected Questions to support recognising all three types of verbs (action, ‘to be’, linking) in statement sentences which use conjunctions such as: so, and, but, for, when, that, if and because. More than one verb will be used in multi-clause sentences.
Greater Depth Questions to support recognising multiple use of all three types of verbs (action, ‘to be’, linking) in a variety of sentence types where the verb is not always identified. For example, ‘Wash your hands because we are going to bake a cake.’
