Varied Fluency
Developing Questions to support punctuating simple sentences using full stops. Including use of the most frequently used letters (e, o, t, a, n, h, r, i, s) in CVC words. The first 100 high frequency words may also be used.
Expected Questions to support punctuating simple sentences using full stops. Including use of the most frequently used letters and the next most frequently used letters (d, l, y, m, w, u, g, f, c, b) in CCVC/ CVCC words. The first 100 high frequency words may also be used.
Greater Depth Questions to support punctuating two sentences using full stops. Including use of the least frequently used letters (k, v, p, x, j, z, q) in longer words. Year 1 spelling appendix words may also be used.

Application and Reasoning
Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Application)
Developing Identify the number of full stops that need adding to a given sentence. Including use of the most frequently used letters (e, o, t, a, n, h, r, i, s) in CVC words. The first 100 high frequency words may also be used.
Expected Identify the number of full stops that need adding to a given sentence. Including use of the most frequently used letters and the next most frequently used letters (d, l, y, m, w, u, g, f, c, b) in CCVC/ CVCC words. The first 100 high frequency words may also be used.

Developing Arrange 4 words and a full stop into the correct order. Including use of the most frequently used letters (e, o, t, a, n, h, r, i, s) in CVC words. The first 100 high frequency words may also be used.
