Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Reasoning)
Developing Explain which answer is correct when calculating change. Questions involve purchasing 1 item, using increments of 5p.
Expected Explain which answer is correct when calculating change. Questions involve purchasing up to 2 items, using increments of 1p.
Greater Depth Explain which answer is correct when calculating change. Questions involve purchasing up to 2 items requiring conversion from pounds to pence.

Developing Calculate the cost of an item from the amount paid and the change given, using increments of 5p

  1. The varied fluency practice is great, as it allows pupils to practise the core skill of finding change in a logical and familiar method-using number lines.

  2. Excellent resources. It makes my life easier. The only thing I’d like to see improve is the file names to make them easier to find fluency, reasoning and problem solving as they all start the same and I have to check many times what is what.
