The Alphabet Lesson
This The Alphabet lesson covers the prior learning of applying phonics sounds to label sport related words, before moving onto the main skill of learning the 26 letters of the alphabet.
The lesson starts with a prior learning activity to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for that step. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning with engaging reasoning and application tasks.
