This Year 4 What is a Fraction? lesson covers the prior learning of unit and non-unit fractions, before moving onto the main skill of identifying fractions in different representations.

The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
