This Year 5 Position in the First Quadrant lesson covers the prior learning of describing position in the first quadrant using coordinates before moving onto the main skill of reading, writing and understanding coordinates in the first quadrant.
The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill.
