Add 2 or More Fractions Lesson

This Year 4 Add 2 or More Fractions lesson covers the prior learning of adding fractions that total less than one, before moving onto the main skill of adding 2 or more fractions that total greater than 1.

The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for the step here. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
