Year 5 Compare Volume
This Year 5 Compare Volume lesson covers the prior learning of calculating volume before moving onto the main skill of comparing and ordering different solid shapes based on their volume.
The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for the steps here. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
