# Ratio and Proportion Problems Lesson

This Year 6 Ratio and Proportion Problems lesson covers the prior learning of calculating ratio and scale factors, before moving onto the main skill of solving ratio and proportion problems.

The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. If they need more practice, you can choose other resources for the step here and here. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
