Developing Questions to support identifying a spacing error in a short phrase (two simple nouns joined with ‘and’). Using sentences or phrases of up to four words, containing words up to and including CVC words.
Expected Questions to support identifying spacing errors in letters and words within a short sentence. Using sentences or phrases of up to five words, containing words up to and including CVC words.
Greater Depth Questions to support identifying spacing errors in letters and words (including punctuation) within pairs of short sentences. Using sentences or phrases of up to six words, containing words up to and including CVCC and CCVC words with an increasing amount of ascenders and descenders within words.

Application and Reasoning
Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Application)
Developing Rewrite a given sentence containing errors so that it is presented correctly. Sentences of up to four words, containing words up to and including CVC are used.
