Developing Subtract fractions using a visual image, where the denominator less than 10.
Expected Subtract fractions with no visual image, where the denominator 12 or less.
Greater Depth Subtract fractions with no visual image, where the denominator 12 or less.

Questions 2, 5 and 8 (Reasoning)
Developing Identify and explain if the statement is correct when subtracting fractions and comparing whether it is more or less than another fraction. Includes denominators that are less than 10 and visual images.

2. Questions for the greater depth are incorrect: the first question has 18/15 as the first fraction and there are mistakes throughout. Sophie Adams

• Hi Sophie, the differentiation for this step states that Greater Depth uses improper fractions. We have chosen this differentiation as further understanding that fractions can be greater than 1 whole whilst still using the same denominator. I have also found one mistake on the Expected Varied Fluency so I have updated this on our website. Sian 🙂 Classroom Secrets
