Developing Questions to support using prepositions to express place. Using the prepositions: to, in, on, by, at, from, into, through, over and up.
Expected Questions to support using prepositions to express place. Includes the prepositions from Developing as well as: between, around, among, against, across, behind, beyond, near, above, down and off.
Greater Depth Questions to support using prepositions to express place. Includes the prepositions from Developing and Expected as well as: throughout, towards and upon. Some variation in the positioning of prepositional phrases within sentences.

Application and Reasoning
Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Application)
Developing Change the meaning of a sentence by changing the preposition. The prepositions: to, in, on, by, at, from, into, through, over and up are used.
Expected Change the meaning of a sentence by changing the preposition. Includes the prepositions from Developing as well as: between, around, among, against, across, behind, beyond, near, above, down and off.
Greater Depth Change the meaning of a sentence by changing the preposition. Includes the prepositions from Developing and Expected as well as: throughout, towards and upon. Some variation in the positioning of prepositional phrases within sentences.

Questions 2, 5 and 8 (Application)
Developing Find two prepositions which would make sense in a given sentence. Differentiation the same as question 1.
Expected Find three prepositions which would make sense in a given sentence. Differentiation the same as question 4.
Greater Depth Find four prepositions which would make sense in a given sentence. Differentiation the same as question 7.

Developing Explain why the preposition does not make sense in the given sentence and suggest a replacement. Differentiation the same as question 1.
