Greater Depth Questions to support identifying and using vowels within sentences. Includes words with more than one vowel, no picture prompts and 3 options for multiple choice questions.

Application and Reasoning
Questions 1, 4 and 7 (Application)
Developing Identify the vowel sound in a word. Includes one vowel per word.
Expected Identify the vowel sounds in a word. Includes more than one vowel per word.
Greater Depth Identify the vowel sound/s in a word. Includes more than one vowel per word with one unstressed vowel which is not heard.

Questions 2, 5 and 8 (Application)
Developing Identify 3 words which fit given criteria of a number of letters and vowels. Includes one vowel per word and a word bank.
