Step 3: Year 1 2D Shapes IWB Shapes Activity

This Year 1 2D Shapes IWB Activity checks pupils' understanding of 2D shape names, including triangle, circle, square and rectangle and recognising the 2D shapes on the face of a 3D shapes, including cube, cuboid, cone and cylinder. Pupils will use a word bank to add the names of 2D shapes, count the number of square faces on a 3D shape and drag and drop the 2D shapes found on the surfaces of different 3D shapes.
