Year 1 Autumn Week 1 Rapid Arithmetic

Are you looking a quick-fire activity to help you understand more about any gaps in your children's learning? Then look no further than this Year 1 Rapid Arithmetic resource.

This resource is designed to be used in Week 1 of the Autumn term as it recaps the ELGs and can help you to assess your children’s prior knowledge. Children are presented with a set of 3 questions to work through. This resource has been scaffolded three ways into Set A, Set B and Set C allowing you to decide which questions each child should complete. Through using the scaffolded system you can ensure that all children have the opportunity to practice and become fluent in different areas of maths.

There are three days worth of questions provided to allow you the flexibility of when to use these questions with your class. Each set of questions has an answer page included, this resource is ideal for use with your whole class and has been created for use on an IWB. Children can then record their answers in a maths book.
