Year 3 Multiply 2 Digits by 1 Digit 1 IWB Multiplication and Division Activity

Step 3: Year 3 Multiply 2 Digits by 1 Digit 1 IWB Multiplication and Division Activity

This Year 3 Multiply 2 Digits by 1 Digit 1 IWB Activity checks pupils' understanding of repeated addition to multiply a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number using the formal method. Pupils will drag and drop place value counters and digits to complete a place value chart and the associated column multiplication, determine which calculations match an image of a place value chart and identify if a statement is true or false.
