This Baseline Maths Assessment Year 5 resource includes a test with questions for each objective from the previous year group (Year 4) and a spreadsheet to analyse results and identify gaps in prior knowledge. Each question is designed to assess a specific objective from all Mathematics strands and will provide an accurate, up-to-date assessment of children’s knowledge for the start of the year.

  2. ‘Just noticed an error on the answer for question 41. The question asks for largest to smallest, but the answer shows the opposite. Some people might (when marking) not realise and mark this wrong, although I think they’d probably realise, after marking a few.

      Yes we are creating and adding them this week. Year 3 is almost ready to go on. I am just checking it. After that Year 2 will be next.
