Year 6 Autumn Pack 1

Supply work can be incredibly varied and sometimes you are given little time to prepare for a new assignment. Depending on the educational facility, sometimes there may be no work or planning provided, which can add stress to a supply teacher who is navigating a new school and new class.

We want to take the stress out of this situation by offering a range of resources designed to make those first few days easier. With this pack, you can be guaranteed we have provided you with a selection of year group appropriate resources that can be easily delivered. We have also considered printing in our selection of resources. Whilst some of the resources will require printing (or photocopying), we have also included some resources that can simply be displayed on an interactive whiteboard.

Each pack contains at least one maths, reading and writing activity, along with other resources for different subject areas, and we have tried to consider the content based on the time of year. We have also included some 'Getting to Know You' activities to help you learn all about your class, even if it's just for the day!

The resources in this pack can be used as you wish. They can either work as planning for the whole week, or act as supplementary materials, alongside resources provided by the school, to help you and the class get settled.
