Decimals up to 2 Decimal Places Lesson
This Year 5 Decimals up to 2 Decimal Places lesson covers the prior learning of representing tenths on a place value grid and representing hundredths on a place value grid, before moving onto the main skill of reading and representing decimal numbers with up to two decimal places.
The lesson starts with a prior learning worksheet to check pupils’ understanding. The interactive lesson slides recap the prior learning before moving on to the main skill. Children can then practise further by completing the activities and can extend their learning by completing an engaging extension task.
