With two opportunities per question style, your class can master their multiplication skills! This resource has been differentiated three ways to support all learners. Below is a brief outline of how each level of differentiation differs per level of challenge:

Expected: Questions to support multiplying two 2-digit numbers using a formal multiplication method including exchanges.

Greater Depth: Questions to support multiplying two 2-digit numbers using a formal multiplication method including exchanges, where the numbers in the questions are incomplete.

Use this resource as an independent learning activity for children to showcase their skills. Alternatively, this could be used in a small intervention group to either challenge children further or to provide more support to those who need it. A clear and concise answer sheet has been provided to aid marking or this could be used for peer or self marking too.
