Use our EYFS and KS1 Hearing Rhyming Sounds activity to practise identifying rhymes with your class. This resource is differentiated to six levels of challenge, giving you choice and flexibility. Children will match images and words according to their rhyming sounds. In the final level, children are challenged to think of their own rhymes.

This activity would be great revision as part of a phonics lesson, but also could be used in English as a precursor to teaching poetry!
