The perfect way to introduce the Five Little Ducks nursery rhyme, our PowerPoint can be shared with the whole-class or in small groups. Suggested questions are included after each slide, allowing children to make predictions as well as develop retrieval and inference skills. These questions are displayed on the first slide and are also included within the 'Notes'. This enables the questions to be viewed if the PowerPoint is displayed in 'Presenter View'.

It covers the following objectives for children in reception:

Engage in storytimes.

Listen to and talk about stories to build familiarity and understanding.

3 and 4 year olds

Enjoy listening to longer stories and can remember much of what happens.
