This EYFS Incy Wincy Raindrop Doubles activity helps children to explore doubles of the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4. The children use finger painting to create raindrops and then fold the paper to print them creating double the amount of raindrops. Through this activity they recognise that doubling is adding the same number twice.

Link the number symbol (numeral) with its cardinal number value
