This KS2 Rubies in the Snow Guided Reading Pack is linked to the Russian Revolution in the form of a narrative about a poor man who witnesses how the other half live. This reading resource has been created to help develop reading skills through different styles of questions and children will be required to retrieve information, make comparisons, make inferences and explore the authors use of vocabulary. This resource comes with additional challenge tasks focussed on word meanings, passive and active sentences, antonyms and subordinate clauses. To make things easier we've also included the answers!
