Use this UKS2 At the Market Video Tutorial to teach children the correct vocabulary and sentences needed to order different foods by weight or capacity in French. Children are reminded of previous food-related vocabulary they may have come across already before moving on to constructing sentences using different weights and capacities in French. Hosted by a French-speaking presenter, children are exposed to the correct pronunciation and sentence structures whilst the on-screen questions allow them opportunities to enhance their speaking and listening skills. This resource can be used in both Year 5 and Year 6.
