Use this Y5 Converting Units of Time Reasoning and Problem Solving resource to allow your pupils to apply their knowledge of converting units of time to problem solving.

There are two problem solving questions and one reasoning question in this resource. The first problem solving question requires children to convert weeks or days to suggest possible dates. A calendar on desks or the whiteboard will support their working out in this question. In the second question, children convert units of time and then order them in different ways using comparison symbols. In the final reasoning question, they decide whether a statement is correct and explain their thinking. Each question has two similar parts to promote confidence.

An answer sheet is included to help busy teachers with marking or pupils with self-marking.
