Our Year 2 Add by Making 10 Reasoning and Problem Solving resource is sure to secure pupils' understanding of using number bonds to 10 when adding two 1-digit numbers. There are four reasoning and two problem-solving questions to complete, and each one uses a range of representations to support children in finding the solution. This includes Base 10, part-whole models and calculation frames. Children will identify numbers to complete calculations and will spot errors in partitioning.
