This Year 2 Draw a Habitat Worksheet requires children to draw an example of a habitat they have learnt about in the 'What is a Habitat?' lesson. The worksheet focuses on labelling the characteristics of their chosen habitat, thinking of animals that live there and giving reasons why that habitat is suited to those animals. There are three different formats to meet the needs of all your children. Give it a try!
National Curriculum Objectives:
Identify that most living things live in habitats to which they are suited and describe how different habitats provide for the basic needs of different kinds of animals and plants, and how they depend on each other.
