Get children applying their statistics knowledge by downloading our Year 2 Interpret Pictograms 1-1 reasoning and problem solving resource. Your children will be able to showcase their pictograms interpretation skills with two different reasoning style questions and a problem solving style question. On each worksheet in this resource, there are two examples of each question type. This resource has been differentiated in three ways so there is something for every learner. Below is a brief outline of how our differentiation differs per level of challenge:
Developing: Questions to support pictograms that use one to one representation and includes up to 10 pictures or symbols in each category.
Expected: Questions to support pictograms that use one to one representation and includes up to 15 pictures or symbols in each category.
Greater Depth: Questions to support pictograms that use one to one representation and includes up to 15 pictures or symbols in each category.
Use this resource following a series of varied fluency questions as an independent learning task. Alternatively, this could be used as part of an intervention group to further support or offer additional challenge for children.
