We have the resource you need to check children have a solid understanding of finding a quarter of shapes and objects, before children get to grips with the Year 2 Recognise a Quarter step proper. This Year 2 Recognise a Quarter activity sheet focuses on the uses of pictorial representations and provides a mix of varied fluency and reasoning and problem solving questions, all designed to prepare children to move on to the main step.
