This Year 2 Recognise a Third TPP contains a clear teaching sequence to use to teach your children all about thirds. The PowerPoint looks at how we can split a shape into three equal parts to find thirds. It addresses the misconceptions about parts not needing to be equal in size and also includes some questions.
