Kids love patterns: they love making them, drawing them and just generally finding reasons to doodle. So why not turn that into something more professional with this Year 2 Shape Patterns with Turns challenge, which combines kids love of making patterns (doodling) with systematic thinking and the use of mathematical language in the classroom. An answer sheet has also been provided, which you could provide as a prompt or to help children work out how to get to the answer.
