We have provided a timetable in the pack for you to follow each week. The timetable shows when to model good reading, when to allow children to repeat and follow, and when they can begin to develop expression, tone and volume to truly get to grips with the text.

Also included with the pack is a close reading exercise, which questions children's understanding of how tone and expression affect the text, a phrase-marking sheet to encourage children to add expression when reading, and a feedback rubric so that children can visualise the progress they've made across the week.
