Introduce this new topic of plants to your class with this Year 2 What are Bulbs? Lesson.

In this Year 2 lesson, pupils will recap parts of a plant such as leaf, stem and roots. They will then learn about how plants grow from bulbs and what the different parts of a bulb are called. Finally, they will learn about the job of a garden centre worker, to give this lesson a real-life context. Give it a go!
