This Year 2 Writing Lists Mixed Activity resource will give children a chance to practise using commas in a list.

After first identifying a correctly formed comma they will progress to adding commas to separate items in lists. Then, they have an opportunity to write their own sentences containing commas and finally, explain the correct use of a comma.

The range of questions, from fluency to reasoning and application will engage and challenge children and enable them to secure their learning in a variety of ways.
