Use this Year 4 Common Exception Words Resource Pack 3 to help your pupils learn to read and spell a number of the year 4 common exception words. The pack includes a teaching PowerPoint and five worksheets. The worksheets feature a wordsearch, a crossword, a criss-cross activity, a word list and a spot the mistake activity.

The PowerPoint shows how to use mnemonics to aid with the spelling of common exception words. The worksheets can then be completed in class, in an intervention group, or they could be sent home for homework.
