This Year 4 Consolidating of Writing Paragraphs in Standard and Non-Standard English Mixed Activity resource gives your class practice identifying and changing non-standard English to standard English and adding phrases and sentences to improve paragraphs.

The six questions are based on a short text which is presented at the top of the question sheet. The three fluency questions, two application and one reasoning question will challenge your pupils to edit and improve the original text and, in the last question, add their own ending.

An answer sheet is provided to ensure your marking is quick and easy or to encourage self or peer marking.
