You class can recap some key skills with this Year 4 Correspondence Problems Prior Learning worksheet. This resource covers objectives found in the previous year and earlier on in year 4 to help children to get onto the right path for the new learning that takes place in this lesson. On this worksheet, there are three varied fluency questions, two reasoning questions and a problem-solving question all linked with finding different ways to solve the same problem or multiplying three 1-digit numbers.

We'd recommend using this at the beginning of your lesson to help you get an idea of what children already understand. Alternatively, this could be used as an early morning activity, a homework task or form part of an intervention session; the choice is yours! A handy answer sheet is provided to make marking much quicker too.
