Your class will speed through subtractions at a supersonic rate with our Year 4 Efficient Subtraction Reasoning and Problem Solving resource. You can be efficient as they are too as we have already included three levels of differentiation offering challenge and choice in your class. Each level of differentiation includes one problem-solving style question and two reasoning style questions, with two of each question type to help build children's confidence.

Use as part of your independent learning task in class, or include as an intervention activity. Alternatively, ask children to solve the questions in pairs or small groups to encourage mathematical thinking and discussion. We haven't stopped there, your marking will be efficient too as the answers are included!
