In this Year 4 Expanding Sentences using Conjunctions Application writing task, children are asked to imagine themselves as their favourite television character. Using conjunctions, children write about a typical day as their character and the adventures they have.

This worksheet would be a great assessment tool as children use what they understand about conjunctions and apply it to their writing. This activity can be completed independently but could also be used as a discussion point for small groups or interventions.
